“Moonlit Golden Gate” is a beautiful oil painting on a textured 2 feet X 2 feet wood fencing board.   I use sheetrock tape, string and Fix all dipped in Gesso to get a richly multidimensional canvas.  I then cover it in Gesso and paint with oil. Painted in San Francisco, December 2015.

“Under the full moon in the Marin Headlands, I saw this image.  I  used the shadows in the foreground to emphasize the beauty of the moonlight.”
