Check out my new “Seven Year Bitch Rehearsed” on Rarible NFT Marketplace. To find my NFT, go to Rarible and search for ‘Seven Year Bitch Rehearsed’ click NFT. NFTs suit my Uranus ruled brain better than regular art markets. While I might sound greedy, I firmly believe that the creator of art should benefit from any increase in value that their work generates over time. This creates a fairer ecosystem where artistry is respected and rewarded. When a buyer acquires either a piece of art or an NFT, they still stand to gain significantly—retaining 90% of the sale price when they choose to resell it. This model allows me to receive 10% from the resale, which, in turn, can help sustain my artistic endeavors and foster my growth as an artist.
Moreover, I envision a future where I can share a portion of my earnings with a nonprofit organization, thus contributing to a greater cause and helping others in need. It gives me hope to think that through my art, both buyers and the community can benefit.
However, I still struggle with identifying the best strategy for releasing my NFTs on various marketplaces. The process can seem overwhelming, given the multitude of platforms available, each with its unique audience and guidelines. I dropped 45 copies of ‘Seven Year Bitch Rehearsed’ NFTs which looking back could be excessive. However I could see it as showcasing my confidence in my work and provideing more opportunities for collectors and fans to engage with what I create. I genuinely believe that the art community can thrive when more people have access to diverse artistic expressions.
Ultimately, I want to cultivate an environment where my art can bring value to others, particularly those who choose to invest in it. This interconnected relationship between the creator, the collector, and the community excites me, and I am eager to explore various avenues to make it a reality. I look forward to learning and leveraging the tools available in the NFT marketplace to ensure that my art reaches a wider audience and has a lasting impact.
