I painted this Heliconia Hawaiian flowers as a commission for a friend . After this one I painted the next one of Birds of Paradise.  I enjoy painting the textured flower paintings.  The texture brings a three dimensional element to the painting.

Things started to happen after I did a New Moon Ritual on the recent new moon lunar eclipse. I made the intention to be well paid and recognized artist.  Within a week I received a commission.   My friend wanted me to paint a Hawaiian  Flower painting for his house in Hawaii.  So I threw myself into it as I enjoy a challenge.  After finishing his painting, I painted “Hawiian Heliconia Flowers.”  I textured siding board with Sheet rock tape and then painted it in acrylics.

After I finished “Hawaiin Heliconia” Flowers, I painted “Birds of Paradise” . These two painting look great in any living room. At which time another old client contacted me about another commission on stone fruit. So I am now painting more Textured nature paintings and enjoying it. These two flower paintings look great with the large artichoke painting in the parlor of the Academy.
